Two provinces
and two inns, connected by a two-hour journey. Day one begins in a turret
suite at PEI’s Duchess of Kent Inn overlooking the historic
streetscapes of old Charlottetown. This Queen Anne revival inn, circa
1875, is centrally located offering a downtown experience in a stately
setting.
On day two, experience the true
spirit of Maritime travel where you can stretch your legs and your mind
aboard the ferry en route with your vehicle to Pictou’s Braeside Inn.
Awaiting you at this charming boutique hotel will be an authentic East
Coast meal prepared by Chef Darrell. Before retiring to the comfort of
your air-conditioned room, we invite you to take a leisurely stroll along
the award-winning waterfront, home to the Ship Hector and deCoste
performing arts center. Enjoy a complimentary Continental Breakfast the
following morning before setting out for another day of adventure!

Darrell. Stroll down to the deCoste Centre for the Summer Sounds of
Nova Scotia and experience a toe-tapping performance at a real
Maritime Ceilidh (ask us what this means!), showcasing fiddlers,
singers, pipers and musicians sharing their love of our traditional music
and culture. Enjoy a complimentary Continental Breakfast the following
morning before setting out on your way.
